The 2017 GRDC Research Updates in Perth was again a hugely successful event held at the new Crown Towers facility and attracting over 600 delegates over the two day program.

Congratulations to DAFWA research officer Dr Stephen Davies on receiving the 2017 Seed of Light award for his work on managing soil constraints in cropping systems. Dr Davies has strong connections with grower groups around WA and has been instrumental in driving adoption and practice change in WA growers when it comes to soil amelioration techniques to improve crop yield and quality.
