The 2017 GGA/CBH Grower Group Governance Training was held at the Katanning Sheep Saleyards during March with participation from grower groups, community centres, agribusiness, farmers and NRM organisations.
Now in it’s third year, the partnership between GGA and CBH has given grower and other community group committee, staff and members the opportunity to develop high level governance skills and take this knowledge out into their community to build stronger and more resilient organisations.
Delivered by experienced facilitators from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), the training covered topics such as the roles and responsibilities of directors, specifically in the areas of governance, risk and strategic direction.
GGA and CBH plan to continue this partnership into 2018 and beyond, and look forward to bringing you further capacity building workshops in the future. If you would like more information about the opportunities provided by GGA, please contact us at the office, T: (08) 6180 5759, E: admin@gga.org.au.
