The Yuna Farm Improvement Group began operating in 1998 when the Landcare & Development group (LCDC) combined with the Yuna Farm & Pasture Improvement Group.

Objects of the association:
- To provide members and local growers with opportunity to visit and receive results from trials ie Field days, crop establishment walks etc
- To liaise with appropriate organisations to organise trial programs for the Yuna area
- To organise local farm updates and seminars relating to local farming issues.
- To fundraise to finance the group and assist other local community organisations through either growing a crop or any other means of fundraising.

COGGO Project - Managing soil nitrogen, moisture and plant production interactions for increased grain production potential under climatically variable conditions.
Economic of Legumes - 2 trial sites using vetch and lupins with various treatments. Results and economic impact will be realised at the end of 2023.
Internet of Things project – 16 soil moisture probes to create a network of mapping soil moisture, forward grain selling.
Community crop machinery demonstrations – seeding, spraying & harvesting.
