Wheatbelt Integrity Group (WIG)
Description
Wheatbelt Integrity Group champions farming through the sharing of knowledge and support for regenerative agriculture, believing its principles and practices will promote soil health, human health and environmental health.
After starting in 2014, the WIG committee (Board of 13) has continued to lead the group to grow as an information hub for farmers curious about a pathway into regenerative agriculture to follow.
The group initially comprised of a group of farmers, financial advisors, businessmen and politicians looking to develop alternative farming finance avenues and farming practices. They met at Parliament House on July 14th 2014 to discuss the way forward, hosted by Eyre MLA, Dr Graham Jacobs.
