West Midlands Group
Description
The West Midlands Group was formed in 2009 from a local natural resource management group with an initial focus on addressing the growing issue of soil water repellence in our region. The group has grown over the last ten years to diversify its activities into crop, livestock, and pasture production, as well as supporting horticulture, regional development and branding, and the role of women in agriculture. The West Midlands Group collaborates on many industry-based projects with various research organisations and grower groups to deliver statewide project outcomes.
The group's vision is an innovative, member-driven group driving industry change to create opportunity and prosperity for the West Midlands region.
