Toodyay Agricultural Alliance
Description
The Toodyay Agricultural Alliance was initiated by growers in 2015 to protect, promote and support broadacre agriculture in the region. Growers felt that there were pertinent issues affecting broadacre agriculture production that could not be supported by grower groups nearby. The group shares experiences, has conducted demonstrations and encourages members to host trial sites and participate actively in research and development.
Past Accomplishments
Oat variety demonstration 2017. Barley trial site 2018. NVT. Feral pig monitoring and management.
Sponsors
The group does not have sponsors, and is funded entirely through membership and member support.
