The farmer-led group is in formation with a foundation steering committee of approximately 10 farmer stakeholders. The group is currently receiving governance support from the Shire of Three Springs having accessed remnant funds from a dormant Catchment Council group.

The groups vision is to create a farming community that is engaged, motivated and forward thinking and will become active in the area of extension, R&D trials, peer to peer learning and motivating farmers in the district.

In April 2021 the group developed their foundation strategic plan and will mobilise into early activities in the latter part of 2021.
