The Lower Blackwood LCDC was formed in 1991. It's Vision is to promote a sustainable agriculture community in the Blackwood Region, where sustainability is measured in economic, social, and environmental terms.

We are currently delivering 15 projects in our Catchment focusing on soil health, soil testing, alternative pastures, feral pig control, riparian fencing and revegetation, regenerative agriculture in practice, eco-vineyards and landholder engagement and extension.
The funding for these projects is a mixture of Federal, State and Local Government as well as participant fees and private sponsorship.
