Established in 1989 as an informal group of local growers that connect over aligned interests, priorities and topical issues. They arrange activities, discussion and extension according to their specific interests, often with the assistance of local agronomist.

Whilst the producer driven group is not incorporated or has a structured committee they have successfully stayed connected locally for three decades to engage in agriculture best practice and R&D aligned to the current grower needs.

Continued to have engaged and satisfied members that self organises and directs the group and generates local constructive discussion on topical issues/innovations.
