Agricultural Women Wheatbelt East (AWWE)
Description
The AWWE Group was formed in late 2012 with the aim to support the essential role women undertake in Eastern Wheatbelt farm businesses through the provision of skills, professional development & networks.
The AWWE Group holds several events throughout the year including networking sundowners, targeted professional development workshops, field walks and full day forums celebrating rural women.
Key topics that we focus on include farm business management, planning for the future, understanding your farm, personal & family health & wellbeing, resilience building and rural/agriculture engagement just to name a few!
The AWWE Group is located in Merredin, however we are servicing the needs of women in surrounding towns, including: Kellerberrin, Mukinbudin, Nungarin, Burracoppin, Westonia, Moorine Rock, Southern Cross, Bruce Rock, Narembeen, Muntagdin plus many more areas of the Eastern Wheatbelt.
