A Community Sundowner is being held for frost affected farmers in the Westonia area.

The event is being sponsored by Grain Growers Australia, Wheatbelt Men’s Health and Farmers Business Network for farmers in the Eastern Wheatbelt affected by frost. The event will be held on the 24th September at 5pm onwards at the Westonia Bowling Club.

The objective is to bring the community together to enjoy a beer/wine, barbecue and listen to members of the mental health community in a casual setting. It’s a way of checking in and showing support to the growers who have done it tough with the recent frost events.
