The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD), in conjunction with the Federation of Performance Sheep Breeders and Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) invites primary producers, industry participants and researchers to join us for DPIRD’s annual Sheep Field Day 2023 at the Katanning Research Station.

This event will provide an opportunity to:

• attend the AWI Bioharvesting demonstration

• inspect the full-wool Yardstick 2022 Merino sire evaluation progeny of 12 leading sires

• hear the latest national results on sire evaluation

• learn more about the University of Sydney ‘factors affecting the success of artificial insemination’ project.
