Through enhancing project management skills and capabilities, groups will be better placed to apply, manage and deliver on projects and opportunities available to them.

This two-day session was delivered as an interactive workshop covering a range key project management skills and knowledge areas using existing project management action learning models and tools. Catered specifically for grower groups as small not for profit organisations managing a range of projects, stakeholders and income streams, the workshop covered knowledge areas including:

  • Project Governance (including project team, managing people/HR, communications etc.)
  • Project brief/scope
  • Project plan
  • Project schedule
  • Project risks & mitigation/change management
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Project budgets and monitoring budgets
